Our mission at the Adaptive Sports & Rec Association is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with physical disabilities through sports and recreation.
Sign Up for the Jr. Wheelchair Camp Aug 6-10
The 27th Annual Jr. Wheelchair Camp is coming up again this August. We invite all Campers from ages 4-18 years old to join us for a week of non-stop sports fun! We will be introducing a variety of adaptive sports to these young athletes and teaching the basics along with the advancements in each sport. Your child will make long-lasting relationships, strengthen athletic abilities and build self-esteem all in the course of one week.
The goal of our Jr. Wheelchair Camp is to help establish the building blocks of an active life through the introduction of adaptive sports and recreation. A few of the sports that will be introduced at the Jr. Wheelchair Camp will include: softball, basketball, tennis, rugby, archery, bocce ball, kayaking, water ski, sailing, yoga, hand-cycling, and much more!
We will meet at North Crown Pointe Shores on Aug 6 & 7 and Southwestern Community College on Aug 8-10. Sign up today to reserve your spot!

Stroll & Roll Event was a Success!
Our Stroll & Roll event was a huge success this year, thanks to all the participants and sponsors for making this day possible. As the participants filled NTC Park at Liberty Station on May 19th they received their starting positions and away they went, walking, running or riding the 2K or 5K.
We had a great race by all participants, followed up with breakfast and wheelchair sports demonstrations. The food vendors were quite tasty as well and the entertainment didn’t let us down. We hope to see you there next year!
